Our Story
Dripping Springs Cook-Off Club Was Started in 1987
The Dripping Springs Cook-Off Club was started in 1987 by some friends that had a friendly rivalry over who had the best barbecue. The club now sponsors a seven category cook-off in conjunction with the Founders Day Festival in the Spring and a Chili/Salsa competition in the fall. The DS Cook-Off Club also cooks for local fundraisers.
